Abdulrahman is a lawyer working in the Regulatory Team, providing legal and advisory support to various government and private entities on matters related to legislation, regulations, and compliance. Among these matters are drafting Laws, regulations, rules, policies, and bylaws, as well as providing consultations regarding the activities conducted by government and private entities to fulfil their missions. Abdulrahman also supports other teams such as Corporate Team and Dispute Resolution Team in related aspects.
Prior to joining K&A, Abdulrahman worked as a legal advisor at the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers. There, he participated in studying and drafting several laws and regulations, and the organizational restructuring of various sectors. Abdulrahman also studied various legal matters referred to the Bureau by HRH the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers, or its economic and political arms. Examples of such matters include providing opinions regarding the compliance of government companies - whose bylaws are issued by royal decrees or resolution of the Council of Ministers - with the new Companies Law. During his tenure at the Bureau, he participated in several specialized internal committees and represented the Bureau’s President in various matters. Lastly, Abdulrahman collaborated on several projects with the Center for Legal Studies and Research, which prepares necessary studies for legislative projects and implementing regulations for government and private entities and drafts them.
Abdulrahman holds L.L.B from King Saud University and an LLM from the University of California, Berkeley, (with certificate in commercial law). He is fluent in Arabic and English.
