Omar is a Saudi Arabian qualified associate in our Regulatory team. He mainly works on providing legal support to many government entities regarding many aspects, such as drafting and developing policies, laws, implementing regulations, internal policies in multiple sectors. Also, providing legal advice regarding the activities carried out by government bodies.

Before joining K&A, Omar as a licensed lawyer works on dispute resolution matters by drafting and reviewing judicial memorandums regarding a variety of cases, preparing legal advice on litigation matters, and pleading in front of various judicial bodies.

Omar has also provided legal support to government entities in Private-Public Partnership projects (PPPs) and worked in banking and finance matters regarding Islamic finance, by assisting the Shariah Board of finance companies, drafting, and developing financial products such as Banking Murabaha, and auditing financial products based on related Sharia provisions.

Omar has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from King Saud University with first-class honors, and he obtained the General Securities Qualification Certificate (CME-1).

Omar is fluent in Arabic and English.
