Omar Iqbal is a Partner in K&A’s Corporate practice. He has over 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, mostly in Saudi Arabia. He has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a "Next Generation Partner" and on the M&A Middle East Power List 2024.

Omar specializes in advising clients on corporate transactions focusing on private equity, private M&A, joint ventures, foreign investment, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, and general corporate and commercial matters. Omar has built sector-specific expertise for financial institutions; telecom; healthcare; education; entertainment; privatization; family business, foreign investors and real estate sector.

Prior to joining K&A, Omar spent more than a decade working with Baker McKenzie, Baker Botts, and Clifford Chance. He also worked at Samba Financial Group (now SNB).

Omar graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from University of London and a member of The Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn (UK).
