Mariyyah is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team. Mariyyah works on corporate and capital market transactions including securities, private placement, investment funds, incorporations, and private equity.

Prior to joining K&A, Mariyyah was a consultant in the World Bank in the Doing Business Project team. Mariyyah participated in the Doing Business Report 2020. Part of her work in the World Bank, Mariyyah analyzed the legal rights of borrowers and lenders related to secured transactions in countries’ laws and regulation around the world.

Mariyyah worked in a local law firm where she built an understanding of the judicial system of Saudi Arabia. She has assisted clients in several arbitrations, commercial, administrations, civil, litigation cases, and contractual issues.

Mariyyah obtained an LLB in Law from King Abdulaziz University, and LLM in Law focusing on commercial and financial law and arbitration from Georgetown University Law Center. Mariyyah also earned an International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Certificate from Georgetown University Law Center.
