Hamdan is a Partner who specializes in project development (including project-related joint ventures); Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs); construction contracts (FIDIC or others); real estate development; leasing; private procurement; environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance; real estate permits and authorizations; intellectual property rights; project-related dispute settlement; Compliance matters (including cybersecurity, cloud computing, anti-bribery, cover-upregulations, trade restrictions and export control), Islamic financing and related areas.

Hamdan also has a significant experience advising on commercial contracts and merger and acquisition transactions.

Hamdan has drafted several publications/memoranda regarding the application of Saudi Arabian law in project transactions, including a recent publication regarding the excuse of force majeure under Saudi Arabian law further to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hamdan was admitted as avocat to the Bar of Brussels, Belgium. 

Hamdan obtained his Bachelor Degree in Law (candidature en droit) and his Master Degree in Law (licence en droit) summa cum laude, both from the University of Liege in Belgium.
